University College - Vitus Bering Denmark (VBD) was established in 2001 as a merger between The Engineering College of Horsens and Horsens Polytechnic. In 2004, the social educator training college Gedved Seminarium joined the partnership and today University College - Vitus Bering Denmark has four main areas of competence:
